Fellowships and Grants
Financial planning is essential for a successful graduate education. At BLC you will have access to a variety of resources to create a financial plan.
1. Talk to your graduate advisor. Ask about potential fellowships and grants. Find out if your department offers teaching assistantships.
2. Visit your campus Graduate School. Graduate school's research office offers resources to help you look for internal as well as external grants. You may also conduct a web search to explore grants resources offered by graduate schools at UWM or UW Madison.
3. Sign up with Pivot. If you are already a Pivot user, log in to https://pivot.proquest.com/ to claim your profile. If you're a new user, create your profile to set up your personalized funding searches.
We will be compiling a growing list of fellowship resources from other universities and sources. If you come across new sites please send them to senA@uwm.edu so that we can add those resources to our list for future applicants and students.
