Heritage Documentation Programs seeks applications from qualified students for 2015 summer employment documenting historic sites and structures of architectural, landscape and technological significance throughout the country. Jobs are available for historians, architects, and landscape architects.  Duties involve on-site field work and preparation of measured and interpretive drawings or written historical reports for the HABS/HAER/HALS Collections at the Prints and Photographs Division of the Library of Congress. Projects last 12 weeks, beginning in late May or early June. The deadline for applications is 9 March 2015.

Positions are open to currently-enrolled students carrying at least a half-time course load at an accredited institution. Students must also be enrolled in courses for autumn 2015 in order to be eligible. (Graduating students who will not be attending college in autumn 2015 are not eligible.) IDP credit is available for qualified students who successfully complete the HDP summer program.
